I am taking on 100k in June to raise money for Day One Trauma Support! 🧡
Day One are the only national charity to provide personalised care to anyone affected by any kind of catastrophic injury, their loved ones and their families – for as long it takes.
They don’t receive any Government or NHS funding and rely on the kindness of people like you. Every donation, big or small, brings me one step closer to my fundraising target
Your support today will mean the world to someone recovering from the emotional and physical trauma of a major injury.

Day 14: Over the Hills!
Monday 16th Jun Steady walk with friends up Ringinglow Road to the Norfolk Arms, then over the Roman Road to the Fox House before cutting across to Strawberry Lee Plantation and down to the Cricket Inn to finish (13.71km)
Day 12 - Evening Walk to Ringinglow
Friday 13th Jun A repeat of my Endcliffe/Whiteley Woods/Forge Dam/Ringinglow loop from Day 1, but really pushed hard this time - shaved 9 minutes off the time and almost managed an average 4mph pace throughout. Breaking that 4mph barrier will be the next challenge. Profile picture was taken at the top of the climb up to Ringinglow - very hot and out of breath!
Day 10 - Grindleford to Sheffield
Wednesday 11th Jun Beautiful evening and a lovely walk from Grindleford train station back up through the woods, up through Padley Gorge to the Fox House (for a pit stop), then over the tops past Lady Cannings to the Norfolk Arms (for a second pit stop) then back home down Ringinglow Road (11.91km)
Day 6 - Evening Walk in Hope Valley
Wednesday 11th Jun Evening walk from Hope train station up to Lose Hill then over the ridge to Mam Tor before dropping down into Edale (8.13km) for a well earned drink and some tea before catching the train back to Sheffield. Then got some bonus kms in because my phone died on the train back so I couldn't call a taxi from Dore and Totley Train station meaning I had to walk home (4.51km).
Day 4 - Walk to Work
Wednesday 11th Jun Steady walk from home into the office for work this morning (4.92km).
Day 2 - Gentle Evening Stroll
Wednesday 11th Jun After yesterday's exertions, just a gentle evening stroll round the block today (1.85km)
You are a star.
